What color eyeshadow would go great with Hazel eyes?

Just eyeshadow, I don't really use mascara and I don't use eyeliner. What color eyeshadow would go great with Hazel eyes?
almay makes shadows for different eye colorsWhat color eyeshadow would go great with Hazel eyes?
try using an eye pencil - olive green or navy blue;

(these colors will bring out the hazel in your eyes).

Color just along the outside corners (top %26amp; bottom)

and use a dab of concealer on the inside corner of

your eyelid. Try a touch of mascara on your lashes for

definition %26amp; your eyes will look awesome! ~ good luck!

p.s. it seems odd, but I also put a light dab of my lipcolor

on the center of my eyelid as a finishing touch ...
if you have hazel eyes that have green in them, then a burgendy, like Foxy Lady from Mac is really awesome because it brings out the green so much. The key is to not completely outline your eyes with it ...but just put a little bit on the bottom outer edges and maybe a little bit on the top line (but not the inside from the top lid)
You should always choose a color the opposite of your eye color. You could use a neutral highlight color, use a neutral base color, and choose a purple or deep blue accent color. Check out mineral colors if you want something with true colors. Good luck!
well mascara will make it stand out much better , anyws i have hazel and i wear brown, green, blue, purple look really good
i think reddish brown or darkish purple would go great. i believe it'll bring out your eye color and give you a nice natural look :-) .
Brown, green...

What eyeshadow colors are great for BLUE eyes?

Put every color that would look good! Thanks! What eyeshadow colors are great for BLUE eyes?
As a general rule, those with blue eyes should look for eye makeup in gray, violet, taupe, purple, and deep blue. Many have found using a dark shade of blue will actually bring out the more natural blue tones in your eyes; giving you a brighter and more vibrant look.

If you are looking for an edgier or more dramatic evening look, mixing black liner with a bright blue will give you a classic “ smoky” effect. You can also throw in some silver, fuschia, or turquoise if you are going out and want a funky nighttime feel.

Those with blue eyes have the distinct advantage of being able to wear a wide array of eyeshadow colors without a lot of mishaps. Blue eyes are agreeable to many shades, however, the ones listed above are the ones proven to be among the best.

Violets and lavenders are most recommended for those possessing a combination of baby blues and blonde hair. This is because a light purple is the most flattering for most blondes who tend to have fairer skin than those with darker hair.

You can use violet on the creases of your eyelids as well as on the lid in general. A lighter lavender above the crease will give you a more dramatic look for evenings. More neutral colors are ideal for daytime, but it's always fun to wear purple no matter what the time or season!

For those blessed with naturally red hair, brown shades will tend to work better on your blue eyes. Since your hair is already such a vibrant color, your skin tone and eyes will demand a more natural looking shadow.

Tans and browns can flatter the shape and shade of your eyes without overpowering your hair or other features. In the evenings, adding a gold shimmer is a great finishing touch for those with gorgeous, fiery hair and contrasting blue eyes. What eyeshadow colors are great for BLUE eyes?
My best friend has blue eyes, and I've found that really light, or pastel colors, look really pretty/sexy with her eyes. Here are some others, but I do insist you mix colors together and try those.

Purple

Pink

Silver

A light blue

Purple and Pink mixed

Brown

Grey

Those are as much as I can think for, different shades of those colors mixed with others will keep you looking unique. Black eyeliner is also always good.

I hope I helped.

Confidence is key,

good luck.
Have you had a look at Almay's cosmetic range? They actually design certain colours to whatever eye colour you have.As i also had this question, i went out and bought there eyeshadow, eyeliner, and mascara recommended for my blue eyes. The colours (like the other answerers have been saying) were light blue, a deep midnight blue, and a deep cinnamony brown colour. Use all three followed by a brown eyeliner, and i have to tell you...its fantastic. I would never of used those colours, let alone buy them, but i DO actually get comments on how my eyes stand out.so blues and browns are what i suggest.or, try something different with a bold thick liner and a very light coral/shimmery colour:) Kitten by Stila is my fave.
Urban decay would be perfect. Try Midnight cowboy, a soft tan/brown with a dash of sparkle. Also add just a teensy bit of Strip, a silvery blue, but always be sure not to add to much and to blend it in very well so it doesn't look tacky. (you can find the brand urban decay at sephoras.)
Warm shades are best for making blue eyes pop out. Brown, warm pinks, and light bronze are good. Here's a good example of what to look for, any one of these work: http://www.newyorkcolor.com/products/ind…

Avoid cool colors, expecially blue, they'll only detract from the blue of your eyes.
No no no! I know from experience! I have blue eyes and the best colors on them are lilac, gold, and pink. Pink might seem werid, but put black eyeliner on just the outer corners and you have a great rock or glam look.
Brown will help bring out the blue in your eyes. Any brown shade should do it.

Smokey colors such as black will also bring out the blue but it will be harsh. It's also not good for an everyday look.
I have blue eyes in a cool skin tone that is very fair I wear blue, plum, grays, greens, pinks, browns are good too especially nude browns.
Lavender, it works well for all eye colours.

Camel, medium brown, peachy colours and bronze or gold would look lovely with blue eyes (;
Black smokey eyes with silver in the corner of your eye. Looks great. Makes your eyes stand out sooo much. :)
id say silver's and browns maybe even blacks, id keep to dark colours though to bring out the colour in your eyes
I would say copper, gold , taupe and lilac. these would bring out the colour of your eyes.

I'm looking to create an evening look. What color of lipstick would go great with purple eyeshadow?
a light color along with some shiny lip gloss will look great! What color of lipstick would go great with purple eyeshadow?
a light muted pink would go great with purples =)
    Mauve
Use the purple to do a smokey eye and then just use a peachy-nude gloss on the lips. Pink will make you look like a bad 70's porn star. :)
Since you're doing such a dramatic eye probably a lighter color lipstick like a nude or pink.
    Pink-
    Mac's Twig
    Mauve
I think pink looks good w/ purple, not at all like a bad 70s porn star.
Sheer, pinky gloss goes great with purple eyeshadow. My favorite lip gloss to wear with purple eye-color is Lancome Juicy Tubes Pop in Fruity Pop!
I would suggest a neutral, natural color. You might just want to wear a nice gloss.
Plums or mauves or purple shade, if you're looking to match.

Otherwise, use a nude color, like Avon's Bare Necessities.

What's a great coler of eyeshadow that doesn't look bad in pictures?

Brown shades are best. They never look trashy and they always make your eyes pop. What's a great coler of eyeshadow that doesn't look bad in pictures?
Gold and champange (that's a pink/white color) looks really good. And a little bit of mascara helps also.
Anything but a bright shimmery blue. Like what young girls cake on their eyes. Ick.

Dark reds, light blues or pinks, or earth tones are good.
It all depends on what compliments you. My makup that matches my skin and eyes and hair looks the best on me. Try out different things and see what you like best. I think that I look best in brown eyeshadow, because it blends with my skin and eyes. (I am white with blue eyes)

Just experiment, and ask for opinions. I bet that you will find something that is perfect
if you want to look paler, a dark blue or green. if you want your skin to look darker, a silver or white. :):):):)
Nothing dark. Lights colors are thebest. Dark shades come out to harsh In photos

blueish greenish is really nice if you know how to apply it

What are some great eyeshadow colors for hazel eyes?

I have pale skin and green and brown eyes.

My eyes look the most green when I wear tan, pink or lavender eye shadows. Nothing too bold, the pink I wear the most is only a few shades darker than my skin.

I used to use ebony black eye liner (for about 9 years) and have recently switched to charcoal gray, I get SO many more compliments on my eyes now!

My mom asked if I got tinted contacts because of how much lighter my eyes appear now. Hope this helps!

they say in the show ten years younger and what not to wear that you should always go with colors opposite on the color scheme from your eye color. So you might want to look at the color wheel and see what colors are opposite to that! Good Luck :-)

What are some great eyeshadow colors for a dark skinned girl?

I've never worn eyeshadow before, well I tried and I found myself looking really retarded so I removed it. Maybe it's cause I'm not good at applying it.

Any suggestion for good colors that will match my skin tone (dark brown)What are some great eyeshadow colors for a dark skinned girl?
Light purple, very light orange, or a feint creme/beige. Those work for me when I see them on a beautiful dark skinned woman. If that's really you in your pic I think you are cute enough to stay au naturale on the shadow and maybe just touch up the eyelids (just a tad). I know there are more knowledgable and qualified people than me to advise you. I'm just telling you from this guys point of view what I think is pretty. What are some great eyeshadow colors for a dark skinned girl?
The all time best eyeshadows are from MAC and Urban Decay. You can't go wrong with these two brands. I always use a black for my lower lids, like Perversion by Urban Decay. And then I go lighter in the middle, like Baked by Urban Decay which is a nice gold color. I then use the lightest color on my eyebrow bone to highlight my brows (in Urban Decay Gridlock or Scandal). You should start with Urban Decay's Book of Shadows with 16 shadows....I love this set. Then go on Youtube and find eyeshadow tutorials (QueenofBlending is amazing). They will guide you step by step on how to put it on so that it looks beautiful.

The best colors for dark brown skin:

    black

    gold

    plum

green (I promise...green is really pretty)
I don't know how much of a dark brown skinned girl you are. Don't try black, it's kind of hard to notice I had to put a lot on my friend. I think a light purple would look nice. Just experiment. I personally do not see a picture of you but I have experimented on my friend and she looks great with dark blue and purple and especially gold, not silver because it tends to look a little ashy.

    Inouvi Cosmectics
I'd recommend earth colours. You know, browns, greens, blues, etc-

I have a friend that does makeup tutorials, that are like really good,

here channel is http://www.youtube.com/makeupisfunx3 she has tutorials on green-gold colors, etc- she's light skinned, BUT she purposefully does colours that look good on everyone. You have to just find a colour that's good for you.

Colours that I think look good on dark skin is purple, green, browns, oranges, golds, a like a faded silver color, MAYBE, a blue. I say maybe because you probably can't rock all shades of blue.

But yeah, you have to experiment. You can't just say ';colors for dark skinned girl';, because every girl is so different, you have different features, different personality, different colours in clothing you often wear, different shades of dark skin itself...it just depends on the person. You have to find the colour that you think looks good on you, and fits you more, you don't want to look cloned to all people with dark skin, do you? lol...good luck
i would say definitely look for maybelline eyeshadow in antique jade http://www.es.maybelline.com/images/products/thumbNails/360ESU_xl.jpg and also some nice colors like dark greens and golds such as :emerald , down to earth and copper penny from the queen collection by Covergirl http://www.covergirl.com/products/product.jsp?productId=queen_1_kit_eye_shadows hope this helps i`m sure it will look great : )
when i do my friends make up (she has a dark skin tone as well)

i like to use gold tones, with black eyeliner, or if you want something more subtle grays and silvers work too.

and if you really want to be bold, a shimmy purple color will look awesome.

and about the applying thing, if you go on covergirl.com they have so many tips, and have live chat that can help you pick out colors, also!

    hope i helped(:
    pink...orange...blue depends on the shades

oh gold is a lovely color that matches dark brown sistas...umm check this tutorial hope it helps

  • Wet eyeshadow technique when using pressed eyeshadow... How do you do it?

When you have a regular pressed eyeshadow and you want to make it more intense, you put it on wet. But do you scrape it into a dish of some sort, or just use a wet brush on the pressed eyeshadow? I used to do the latter but the eyeshadow would get hard and I'd end up having to scrape off the top layer. So should I just scrape it into some kind of dish to make it loose, then use a wet brush?Wet eyeshadow technique when using pressed eyeshadow... How do you do it?
this is a good technique i use, i wet the brush and use that on the pressed shadow BUT only use it on half of the eyeshadow, then, one side can be used for when you use it wet, and the other side is used when you use it dry, this way you dont ruin the whole top of the eyeshadowWet eyeshadow technique when using pressed eyeshadow... How do you do it?
if you apply a small amount of face lotion or petroleum jelly to your eyes just before you apply pressed shadow the color is really intense and has a wet look to it.
Wet the brush on the pressed eyeshadow.

CRUSH IT ALLL UP. Then after that, put a few drops of rubbing alcohol. [Find it at CVS, craft stores, anywhere] Then let it sit. It will look as GOOD AS NEW!
    smoosh it all back together.

What is better, loose powder eyeshadow, pressed powder eyeshadow, creamy eyeshadow or cream-to-powder eyeshado

I like to use cream eye shadow as a base, then dust on pressed powder eyeshadow. It is much easier to blend that way. I also wear very bold colors--a huge variety of colors from pink and lavender colors, to black and greens and oranges and blues. You really can wear anything if you put it with the right clothes and accompany it the right colors in the rest of your makeup scheme. What is better, loose powder eyeshadow, pressed powder eyeshadow, creamy eyeshadow or cream-to-powder eyeshado
I use Occassionally, but always Estee Lauder brand for me is best..What is better, loose powder eyeshadow, pressed powder eyeshadow, creamy eyeshadow or cream-to-powder eyeshado
creme eyeshadow because its the most natural looking.
I really like pressed powder eyeshadow. It looks really clean and neat, and you can wet your brush and use it as an eyeliner if you need/want to.

Creamy eyeshadow is good if you want a dramatic look....for me at least
I think that's a personal preference. I like pressed and powder eyeshadow because I can get the colors to look more bold and defined.
loose powder eyeshadow. still looks natural without looking caked on.

::Sigh:: ohh those horrible press on eyeshadows. Honestly, they're a waste of money. They don't really account for the fact that not everybody has the same shape of eye. If your eye shape isn't exactly the shape they use, then it's going to look terrible. If you're into the leopard print, check YouTube because there are a couple tutorials on how to achieve that look. • Press on eyeshadow at CVS?

hello! i'm looking for a brand of press on eyeshadow thingies and i think i saw them at cvs. if you know the brand name, please tell me!Press on eyeshadow at CVS?
h.i.p ?Press on eyeshadow at CVS?
All I know is that they dont work ... they dont come all the way off the paper ... so it looks crappy
there are many companies that sell press on eyeshadow. i suggest you just go back to CVS and look for it in the makeup aisle.
    doesnt work..

What is the difference between pressed and baked eyeshadow?

Baked eyeshadows are baked on terracotta tiles which somehow makes them finer and more adhesive. Because they don't contain the chemical binders of a pressed powder they are easier on the skin, are less likely to crease and stay on just as well :-)

How do i apply pressed powder eyeshadow?

I only know how to use liquid. How do i apply pressed powder eyeshadow?
You can use your finger or a brush just get some on your finger or brush and apply in a circular movent to your eyelids make sure you put your mascara on after you apply eyeshadow and make sure its a thin layer not a big thick clumpy thingHow do i apply pressed powder eyeshadow?
I find that the best way would be to use a wet eyeshadow brush, or a brush with a sponge in the end. Especially since you're going to be on stage, applying eyeshadow wet will make it look more pigmented and brighter. Also, having an eyelid primer when using ANY type of shadow, can also help the colours look brighter and more pigmented.

Anyways, depending on how you want to apply your shadow, brushes are better to help you blend colour so it doesn't look as harsh on your eyes, or to help you can blend it beside other colours without having hard lines. On the other hand, a sponge generally picks up more shadow than a brush, so you would be able to apply more colour onto your lids - this is a good, controlled way to apply shadow if you just want to use a couple of brighter colours.

If you don't have either, then the second best way would be to use your ring finger and layer, layer, layer! This doesn't allow for too good blending, however, and it does depend on how you're going to wear the shadow whether if this works well or not.

    I hope this helps!
Apply from the inner corner of your eye and move toward the middle of your eyelid. Then apply form the outer corner and move toward the middle. Keep doing that until you have as much eyeshadow on as you want. With the stage lights, your eyes will looke shimmery because there is more eyeshadow on the corners and less on the middle. You can use a brush, but your finger can work, too.

have fun hope i helped :]
I dint think there is a way. You can mix it with Vaseline and make a cream eyeshadow but I think that would be your only option!
Have you tried using a primer at all? it sounds to me like this would solve your problem.

If that doesn't give the desired resilts, mix with vaseline as the others mentioned.
ull need alcohol.. u basically just mix the two up and push them into a container or eyeshadow pan and press them.

there are tutorials on this on youtube. search pressing pigments.
I'm prettty sure there's no way to do that.. but what you can do is either mix a little water in with the loose powder eye shadows so they're creamy when you apply them instead of powdery... or you need to buy an eyeshadow primer because it helps any eyeshadows adhere to your eyelid instead of falling onto your face. Also, primers help the eyeshadow show up bolder and last alll day without creasing. Oh and I recommend Urban Decay Primer Potion (from Sephora).. best primer ever.

    hope this helpss.

Can you make Pressed Eyeshadow into Loose Eyeshadow?

I want to know if you can crush pressed covergirl or maybelline eyeshadow into loose eyeshadow because i want to put them into these pretty glass jars and that way it doesn't take up that much room. Can you make Pressed Eyeshadow into Loose Eyeshadow?
I don't suppose it would be bad, but I would consider a few things before you break them:

    - loose pigments are messier, and if you are clumsy you could spill.

    - It will be a little harder to transport them around for travel

    - make sure you sterilize all the tools/jars that you put your shadows into

    - crush them into a fine powder and aim for even consistency. Can you make Pressed Eyeshadow into Loose Eyeshadow?
Yeh totally, just make sure you grind and crush it well. If anything you can even mix it with a bit of loose powder of a similar colour to blend the texture in.
Yeah you can when I do it i use a small spoon to do it and be careful not to make a mess or you will waste the eyeshadow

    hope this helps

I was at the store yesterday and they had press-on eyeshadow in patterns like zebra print and rainbow. I want to buy it, but I want to know if it actually goes on well and stays on before chucking a few bucks.Has anyone ever tried press-on eyeshadow?
if you just follow the directions the eyeshadow should go on just fine.Has anyone ever tried press-on eyeshadow?
Yes, I have used it before and it works AWESOME. It was on oprah along time ago too. Im not sure what brand you are using, but it is so easy to apply you should give it a try. Also, the press on nail polish is amazing too!! I tried it and looooved it..it gives you perfect polish and doesnt come off for days or weeks. Avon sells it too.
EnKore had a video about this, might be helpful
it's pretty good actually, try it
no they seem weird like taping something on

How can I fix a broken pressed eyeshadow?

I knocked it against something and it like totally shattered :( my fave lavender shade, I don't want it to go to waste! please, do any of you gals have any tips on how to re-press the shadow into its compact? How can I fix a broken pressed eyeshadow?
Oh! I do it all the time.

here: these links will show you EXACTLY how to do it! %26lt;3 Best of Luck.

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iYZwrxWzM鈥?/a>

    and here's part two!

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lLSPG2IHQ鈥?/a>

Basically, you just kind of crush it up a bit more inside the same pan.

Mix some rubbing alcohol with it, until it's kind of chunky/pasty.

Get a cloth, and a quarter (what ever fits the pan) and place the quarter inside the cloth, lay it ontop of the eyeshadow/alcohol mixture, and press!

Wait for it to dry overnight!

**Watch the video for detailed instructions! How can I fix a broken pressed eyeshadow?
Step one: Use a clean mascara wand or Q-tip to gently scrape away any loose bits of shadow.

Step two: Place a Kleenex on top of the broken shadow, then use your index finger to press down on it. Use a series of small pressing motions rather than a few big ones.

Step three: Remove the Kleenex, and you should have an intact shadow once again. (I turned mine upside down and it stayed in one piece. Success!)
You can't fix it, but you can still use it. Just lightly rub the brush in the shadow, tap off the loose powder, then apply it.
Jamie gave you the wrong link to the right guy. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HsXvb1t4q鈥?/a>

I'm sure both (slightly similar) methods will do the trick but this one is shorter and more specific to your needs.

Which is the best kind of eyeshadow - pressed or loose pigment?

And any pro's / con's for the pigment would be great!Which is the best kind of eyeshadow - pressed or loose pigment?
    my personal favourite is loose!!!

    loose shadow:

pros - the colour is so much intenser, easier to use wet than with pressed (when used wet, helps colour to apply more intense if its not as bright as you want ^_^), i find that it the product lasts so much longer than pressed, colour = what you get is what you see, it lasts longer on the lids in my opinion, majority of bright coloured makeup (which i love) comes in this form

cons - it can be messy when your in a hurry. but thats all the bad i can think of

    pressed shadow:

pros - great for when you're in a hurry, great to learn with if you're new to makeup, can build up the colour intensity as much as you like, majority of colours are suitable for the colour-shy person, easy to carry around, normally comes in a palette (great for when you are saving money)

cons - the colour in the palette is not what you get sometimes, i hate the fact that if i swirl the brush too much there is some product wasted, most of them you have to use a white eyeliner to make the colour be the same as in the palette (which i dont like doing).

personally, i press some of my loose pigments so that if i'm in a rush, i can still have the shimmer and brightness but with time to spare. Which is the best kind of eyeshadow - pressed or loose pigment?
okay i LOVE loose pigment cuz the color goes on so much more intense.

pros of loose powder: intense color goes on rly well

cons: can be kinda messy and it can end up under your eyes when applying

pros of pressed: cleaner application, less messy

cons: color isn't as dark/bright as it appears in the palette
loose pigment seems to get a bit messy if u have to much on the brush and u do end up using alot more.tap the brush on the corner of the pot so that any loose pigment will fall back into that make sure you use a good base for a pigment or it will crease and look horrible.i like pressed as its not so messy and the colour goes on alot easier aswell test them out for urself though people like diffrent things
It depends on the look you want. I would say loose powder for evening as the colour is more dramatic and pressed for a daytime look as it is a lot more subtle and easier to use.
I prefer pressed, I always get loose pigment in the wrong places and find it harder to apply. Loose pigment, does have a better effect though, if done properly
I prefer my eye shadow pressed, also my blush - but mineral powder I prefer loose.
    Pressed is so much better.

    Loose pigment goes everywhere!

    Pressed

pressed!!!! %26lt;- its controllable and buildable, more versatile and resilient.
    pressed!!!
pressed for me! seems to last longer, better too!

Where can you buy press on eyeshadow? ?

I really want to try it out for halloween ! any suggestions on where i could buy it?Where can you buy press on eyeshadow? ?
sephora has the best press on eyeshadow ever created :]

they even have it in zebra pint and cheetah print, its really cool.

or you could just get the normal colors that fade from dark to light :DWhere can you buy press on eyeshadow? ?
Sephora actually has a new line of press on eyeshadow (not by sephora brand, but by one of the new brands they carry). A trick I found is that if you take loose pigment and put in on an adhesive of some sort (tape, sticky clothing adhesives, and even pore strips) and shape it your eye it works the same way.
    Sephora!!

I've never tried it, so i can't advise how well it will work.I can't trust the pictures sometimes, but if you wanna try it go ahead.
At your local Sephora, or online at sephora.com

    How do you re-press eyeshadow?

Is this even possible? I dropped my favorite color eyeshadow (limited edition- no more available) and it's now in shambles! all dusty and crumbly... the cover was closed when it happened, so most of it is still there. Is there any way to re-press it?How do you re-press eyeshadow?
Humidity might work, to get it to clump together... like, leaving it in the bathroom while you shower, and then putting a bit of plastic wrap over the eyeshadow and squishing it back together. But, it might not be enough to get it to stick together for long.

If it happened to me, I'd get a little jar or something at the craft store (or look around the kitchen for a little container), crush the eyeshadow the rest of the way, put it in the jar, and use a make-up brush to apply it.How do you re-press eyeshadow?
First of all, I'm sorry. I love my eyeshaddow to death, and if they stoped making it and it broke I think I would cry.

Why dont you try getting something flat that is around the same size as the container (if its round, try a shot glass) and just press really hard on it. I'm sure when they press eyeshaddow they do something much diffrent, but I think that is the best you can do without risking the quality of your wonderful eyeshaddow.

I dont know if you thought of this, but maybe a website sells them still. Search on ebay, overstock, and the company website and see if they have any left. My mom's favorite lipstick went away before they sold all the tubes, so where they kept all the makeup there were still a few boxes left. My mom called them up and ordered about 10 tubes of it. Although you cant buy it in stores, you can try calling people to see if you can still get it. Another thing that you can do is bring your eyeshaddow to any good makeup counter that lets you try on their makeup and ask them if you can compare your color to theirs. Just put a little on your hand side by side and see which one matches.

I really hope that you can find something to replace it once it runs out, and I really hope that you dont have to do this now.

    Good luck.
    eye tips
i'd try putting it in another container and using it as a loose powder, so you don't waste any of it trying to re-press it. also - try looking for it on ebay if it's discontinued... i've had a lot of luck with that!
I don't know if it can be repressed but you could go ahead and just break it up into loose powder and use it like you would powder eyeshadow instead of cake eyeshadow.
just by the same eye shadow again!
You can't repress it. If you check out Carmindy.com (she's the makeup artist from What Not to Wear), she says just to grab a film canister and empty it into that. Then you use an eyeshadow brush to use it instead of one of those applicators that come with it.

    Hope this helps!

i like the eyeshadow you use now. it looks really nice. maybe you could stick with that during the day but on special occasions or parties you could try shimmery. and maybe add a little bit of colour along the top. experiment! xxxShould I use a shimmery white eyeshadow, or a matte one? use the shimmery one for nights out because it glamourizes everything. Use a matte one in the morning, it looks most natural.

and by the way you're very pretty!

    Pastels (Y)

You could wear light pinks, light blues, aquas them sort of colours

you could also wear sparkly eyeshadows but not to much otherwise u'll look like 10 :)

Purple would look realy good but use a light purple and a darker shade of purple and blend them out

btw your eyes are like amazing :)What color eyeshadow should i wear? i have pictures:)?
try wearing a goldy brown to bring out the colour in your eyes. if you want to be a bit more artistic u could blend a darker brown from the middle to the outer corner of your eyelids. finish with black mascara and maybe abit of eyeliner? i think itd really suit your hair/skin/eye colours. your gorgeous by the way

    xx
well first i must say, i love love Love your eyes! they are gorgeous. haha and i think cover girl's new eye enhancers eyeshadow in brown smolder would look amazing! http://www.covergirl.com/products/produc鈥?/a>

okay, i think you should try a pale green eyeshadow. maybe some light pink or purple too. a light brown would also look fantastic on you :)

stay with pastel colors, nothing too dark.

    good luckkkk.

    hope i helped :)
What about a bright neon blue, even though you have brown eyes,, it will look awesome. Also, you can try a soft pink. Or a purple
Stick with warm color tones...they will bring out the colors in your hair. If you would rather bring out your eyes, try a very very soft pale blue (too much will make anyone look like a trailer trash beauty queen). :)
Black eyeliner and dark eyeshadow in corner fading into baby blue eye shadow
a dark peachy color would look really good. you could probably pull off a lighter smoky eye color (considering time of day of course)
Hun you're pretty any color would look good on you (: !
    Browns/Creams

    %26amp; maybe blue's and greens (:
    Reds or browns
you dont need any youre GORGEOUS!!

What eyeshadow would look good on me? [pictures!]?

hey guys! (: for my normal makeup every day, i use liquid eyeliner on the top, tons of mascara, and pencil eyeliner on the bottom. it looks like this:

    http://c2.ac-images.myspacecdn.com/image鈥?/a>

    ^that's me, obviously.

and i want to start using eyeshadow. preferably a brown/bronze color, but i heard once that on green eyes and fair skin, purple looks good? i don't know. tell me which color would look best on me. thanks! What eyeshadow would look good on me? [pictures!]?
You have very pretty eyes, so eyeshadow will definitely bring them out even more.

I suggest using a lighter brown on your lid, contoured with a darker brown on the crease. This is a very simple and easy look to do. I suggest SIN from urban decay for the lighter brown and ANTIQUED from MAC for the crease.

Purples should be more plum and darker, so try SABLE from MAC, which is a plum/brown color.

*also, I suggest you try using pencil eyeliner on your top waterline so you don't have that weird line between your liner/lashes and your eye. And try making your top liner thinner when you use eyeshadow. What eyeshadow would look good on me? [pictures!]?
Okay. Im okay with makeup, even though I don't wear it sooo..

Blue, green, purple eyes: go light with purple or brown

    Brown: orange and purple

    hazel: brownish orange

I have more, I just can't think straight today :)
i have the same skin tone and eye color as you and what ive heard is browns and bronzes are good.supposed to be the whole foresty theme or something. ive also heard purples but personally i dont use them.
    PURPLE or blue
Just go to the mall and get a makeover. There fun, free and you'll see all kinds of colors that work for you.
To be honestt, I think your makeup looks great. I wouldnt use eyeshadow, most girls I see wearing it look bad%26amp;tacky. Stick with what you've got gurll it looks good=]
somthing light that matches your skin like bage or just not blue or purple that make you look like a hooker
I would say ANY will work because you have nice eye color. Bluwish tones would work the best
blues and purples.....but bronze would look cool 2
    I would say blue
i think purple would look weird, i say bronze/brown type color(:
    purple
try both and post a pic of both on here, then let us decide (:

What is my eyecolor and what should my eyeshadow be w/pictures?

i have the weirdest eyes: people say they are either greenish, hazelish, and bluish...and i wanted to know what color you guys thought it was. also, what eyeshadow would look best? i usually dont use any, but i wanna try something new!!

    PLZZZ

    I NEED THE POINTS!

THANKS!What is my eyecolor and what should my eyeshadow be w/pictures?
i have almost the same color eyes except mine are a little more green. I think that yours are more blue so i think that is you want your eyes to pop! you should use the complementary color of orange. Or you could try the complementary color of green which is purple.

You could use either a goldish color for blue or a plum color for the green . I would just try looks with both and find which one that you like the best.
The color of stonewash denim comes to mind. Blue grey?

Black eyeliner and gunmetal grey eyeshadow would look best on your. Sweep on the grey eyeshadow on your lids with a full cut brush, then line your upper eyes with the black eyeliner. Smudge with a Q-tip for a smoky look.

Curl your lashes and apply plenty of mascara to emphasize your lashes and make them bigger.

Gel blush in peach on your cheeks. Lipstick should match your blush.

    Good luck!
i would say your eyes are a blue/green color like a lot of people. I would go with a grey eyeliner or a lighter brown. for eyeshadow i would do a light blue shimmer. I don't think u need eyeshadow though.
Your eyes look blue-gray to me. Like a slate blue-- very pretty. I would recommend a shimmery amber/bronze eyeshadow, but a semi-bright purple would look great too.
They look like a seafoam green. I like them. Very unique! :)
hazel. and use a goldish brown color for eyeshadow.
    blueeee/.
i would say go a light neutral brown, with charcol grey eyeliner

if you really have no clue, its best to go to a saloon and pay like 30 $ to have them put it on you and teach you at the same time, saves time and you get a great look for a day so go out that night. And no there is really no site that tells you. All i can really type to you, is pick one shade lighter than ur skin for the foundation, Neautrogena healthy skin is expensive but it truley is the best for you skin. Apply it with a moist sponge and you can mix a bit of facial mosturizer with it if your face is dryer. For your eyes, put a thin line of black or brown or blue or whatevr color you want all along the lash line on top even to the tip, smudge slightly, Of course do that after you apply your shadow =P of course mix and match shades that go together. You can also take just a q-tip and put a darker shade than the lid shadow in the crease of your upper eye lid and blend to help give that dimensional look dark mascara is best, not brown. Volumizing mascara. And if your a paler use a peach type blush darker, use a rose type. Blending is key. Good luck!

apply black kohl eyeliner pencil along your bottom lash line and a bit above it, all the way from the corners of your eyes. do it on the top as well, a nice thick layer, from one corner to the other corner, so that your eyes are well lined.

then apply black eyeshadow on the eyelid up until the eye crease with a sponge applicator. apply more black eyeshadow above the eyelid with a brush, to create the smoky look. dont do it too much above the eyelid or you will look retarded :) also brush a little black eyeshadow underneath the black eyeliner underneath your bottom lashes.

    here are some pics.

You should go on the Mary Kay web site and they will show you picks. You could also put in your zip code and they will show you the name of the nearest Rep...in your area and they can supply you with the make up and give you pic's and examples of how to do it yourself.
    Step 1

I began by applying a light arc of concealer to the under eye area, using my finger, and then only in spots.

    Step 2

With a circular sponge, loose powder was used to ';set'; the skin.

    Step 3

Light golden brow pencil was used on her newly bleached brows. (The color of pencil is dependant on your brow coloring.)

    Step 4

To compliment her striking new blond hair and eyebrows, I decided to add a bit of seductiveness to her eyes. First, they were lined inside both the top and bottom rims with a black eye pencil, paying close attention to going into the the lashline itself.

    Step 5

Then, with the small eyeshawdow brush, the black eye pencil line's edges were softened.

    Step 6

Black powder eyeshadow was then applied (using the sponge-tip applicator) directly over the pencil and smudged. (If you prefer, you can use your finger tip.) The shadow helps to set and further soften the look.

    Step 7

Next neutral brown eyeshadow was applied with a larger eyeshadow brush. Encircling the entire eye area, be sure to soften and graduate outward (from the eye itself) for that perfect blended look.

    Step 8

Black mascara on curled lashes added just the right touch of sexy delicacy to the overall look.

    Step 9

The lips were lined with a flesh-toned pencil to match Vanessa's natural coloring.

    Step 10

Then, using the lip brush, I applied a soft caramel-colored creme lip color to the entire mouth (blotted and re-applied, then blotted again.)

    Step 11

Finally, very lightly applied rose blush was added to just the apples of the cheeks to finish the face without taking away the impact of the eyes.

Apply some Dark Grey or Black eyeshadow on the center of your lid blending all over. Then apply some black or dark brown eyeliner on the middle of your bottom lid to the outside corner. Kind of smudge it a little. Then apply some Maybelline Define A Lash Mascara (Black) to the top and bottom lashes). Don't worry- you'll figure it out! Good Luck! P.S.- and also try a nude lip gloss to complement the eyes.

    Yes try it.
The white stuff makes your already prominent upper eyelids more prominent. I'd go with a pale beige under my brows and slightly darker just below it. This way you're contouring your upper lid. You can use a coloured liner of your choice, on your upper and lower lids. Beautiful smile, by the way.

    http://usera.imagecave.com/wildpledge/my鈥?/a>

It is a small picture, but I couldn't find any other picture of my eyes. But oh well, at least you have the idea of how my eyes look, and my face, kinda.

Alright. I do not want to look like I absolutely depend on makeup to look good. I also wear a head scarf, keep that in mind. But I show most of my forehead, just cover a tiny bit of it, and the scarf is rather loose and small. I hate tight things. ANYWAYS.

Would eyeliner look bad? I dunno. I really need some tips. I'm absolutely clueless, and I don't know what makeup is good. Hehe. :\

    1. What colour(s) (of) eyeshadow(s) should I use? How to I apply the eyeshadow(s)?

    2. What colour eyeliner should I use, how do I apply it?

    3. You can see a bit of my lips, the bottom one is a bit big, but it wasn't always like that. Anyhow, should I do anything to my lips?

Thank you so much in advance!!How should I apply my eyeliner? What colour eyeshadow? (My Pictures Included)?
    1. the colors of eyeshadow you should use is creamy pink, it looks natural but the sparkle makes it pretty

put on some black mascara so it can POP against the light eyeshadow

    2. the eyeliner you should use is black! it really draws attention to your eyes. you can apply it along your top lashes (use some water to wet the eyeliner so it goes smoothly) or in the bottom rim of your eyes, on your lower lashes

*be careful and take your time when applying because you don't want to poke yourself!

    3. big lips are pretty! but i think dark lip colors would be too drastic for you. try a clear gloss which will give you a healthy look :)

    best of luck!

Lilac on the lids, a darker purple in the outer corner, also a dark blue with a purpleish hint eyeliner and/or mascara.

Whatever you do, do not use green or brown!
I would do something like this

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=I0NkeFxTX鈥?/a>
A golden bronze color would make your eyes pop. Something shimmery but golden, it would look great with you skin tone too. And if you slicked on some clear gloss you would look stunning! Good Luck! :)
    Blues, silver, or white

Your darker skin can handle the more vibrant colors so dont be afraid to experiment
I would say a dark purple or green. I think they match your eye color the most. =]
    Totaly greys and browns!!!!!!!!!!!
try a dark purple eyeshadow. i have the same color eyes and it works for me
    greens and blues most likely
    smokey green or brown

dark colors tht match brown and any eye color

    Eyeshadow help...?(pictures)?

Hello, well I recently got a coastal scents 88 shimmer palette and so I've been trying to figure out what looks good with my eyes. On Saturday to church I did my eyes in blue/silver eyeshadow, here is the pic http://i7.photobucket.com/albums/y273/ge… and I wanted to know if it looks okay. My sister said it was a little too 'prom', so do you think I should tone it down a bit or is it okay?

I also wanted some color ideas I could use for my eye color, like which colors would look good on me. Thanks =)

Heres another picture of my eye if it helps you see the colors http://i7.photobucket.com/albums/y273/ge…

My eye color looks different in the two pictures because my eyes look more blue when I wear blue and in the last picture I wasn't wearing any eyeshadow so it looked more hazel/green, which is what it normally is.

http://i7.photobucket.com/albums/y273/ge… you can see the eyeshadow better in this pic but just ignore my goofy face hahaEyeshadow help...?(pictures)?
Oh'boy church, the one place you will be judge!!! lol

It's best you don't SHOCK your church members as it can become a social experiment... LMAO If you plan to use makeup before you head out to church it's best you work with neutral colors but at the same time BE YOU darn it! If your church members feel the need to comment negatively and/or gossip then their in church for all the wrong reasons as it's not a run-way show!

Nevertheless all the pictures I seen are really nice (good job girly). PLAY, PLAY, PLAY with all the 88 colors. YET there is a place and time for LOUD/SHOCKING colors. hee heeEyeshadow help...?(pictures)?
I personally Dont believe in Night Makeup Day makeup thing !!! I think you look great!!!!! If you want to wear alot of makeup %26amp; it looks great (which it does) than I think its fine.......

We are not in the 50's You can wear fake lashes, Makeup %26amp; shadows anywhere at anytime!!!!!! (if it what you like) :)
Wow you did an amazing job on your make-up; but I agree that to church it maybe a little too much. Maybe you could just try some basic black eye liners- not too thick of a line- and a couple of strokes of mascara. And for your eye color I say the sky's the limit just make sure that you do it for appropriate occasions.
You don't have a goofy face, and your eyes are cute...I think You should leave the way its right now ..
i think that eye shadow is very cute, but i dont think id wear it to church. maybe a night out with friends or something.
That's definitely more of a night look, so yeah maybe a bit toned down.

Your eyes are beautiful by themselves anyway!
I think you sister is kinda right, i mean i think that you should put that much eyeshadow on for like just church but if you going to go out somwhere nice sure.
Its cute but maybe tone it down a bit for everyday..

What color eyeshadow should i wear? PICTURES?

Wear blue, green, or purple shadow with black mascara and liner =) Those colors will definitely bring out the blue eyes. Also if you really want them to stand out, wear a blue shirt. What color eyeshadow should i wear? PICTURES?
Hi, sometimes vibrant colours like pink and turqoise can really look awesome :) Usually silver goes well with blue eyes too + keep in mind using blue eyshadow close to your eye colour can make them look quite dull x

    hope it helped!
Try bluish greens. The opposite color of your eyes usually looks the best.

    Good Luck! :]

    Is red eyeshadow bad?? Pictures.?

I've been wearing red eyeshadow for about 6 months now. I really like it. But most people don't. Tell me if it's that bad. And if it is, tell me what I should do.

    http://i129.photobucket.com/albums/p236/鈥?/a>Is red eyeshadow bad?? Pictures.?
i like it, but it'd look better if it was even brighterIs red eyeshadow bad?? Pictures.?
It's not really that bad. If your talking 60's bright baby blue all the way to your eyebrows, now that's bad.
I like it. Who cares what other people think? They probably wish they could break appearence boundries like you do :)
    yeh...........
in my personal opinion, red makes people look washed out...from the picture your eye make up looks more brown than red... so you might be ok, but i still think other colours would definitely flatter you a whole load more. im not tryiung to be mean or anything, just some friendly advice.. i love experimenting with make-up, go for it!
it looks more brownish than red so i think youre safe :o)
its not bad but if you used a little softer toned red that might work even better

%26amp;%26amp; it depends on what your wearing
nope, it looks good. its actually my prefered color too. i've been using red for 5 years! hah.
it looks good on u and u like it so why should care what ppl think??
You should wear whatever you feel comfortable with.

My only concern with red eyeshadow is that it can make you look sick. If your eyes are bloodshot it makes the red in them standout even more.

I would suggest making a slightly thicker line with your black eyeliner just so the red will start a little bit further from your actual eye. Curl your lashes and add lots of mascara too!
I don't think there's anything wrong with the shade.

But I do think that it would look better if you used it with complimentary shades. I think you would look even better if you blended it with a lighter and darker shade, to have a more natural, not-so-severe look. Try using a pink or skintone base, then apply the red. Blend some browns into it, to create more depth. I bet you'd look prettier. :)
no i don't think it looks bad at all, it look pretty on you :P
It actually looks really good :)
I think its really cute.. doesnt even look really red and it doesnt stand out and make you look bad so i think its cute.. i dont really see why people wouldnt like it
It is not Christmas red like I was thinking, and it goes well with your skin tone. You could also try blending it with a lighter shade for a daytime look that is not so drastic.
noo. it's exotic. i want that colour too~

Makeup- For a natural look, go with foundation, mascara and pink lip gloss. For an everday look go with the natural but either add or change one element. For example, use red lip stick instead of lip gloss, or use a bold eyeshadow, or add eyeliner (liquid or pencil.) For your hair (im guessing your natural hair is straight?) You have many possibilities. You can leave it straight, crimp it, curl it, put it in a side ponytail, braids, high ponytail, bun, whatever, you name it! :]

    I hope i helped.

If you want to go for bolder looks, (i like the pink dye btw. !!)

    Add--%26gt;%26gt;

    - a bold eyeshadow like dark turquoise, hot pink, shimmery blue, gold, silver, etc..

-A different color mascara or eyeliner. At sephora I know they sell red, blue, green, white (my favorite.. looks so cool on the tips) and yellow mascara. They sound crazy, but they look really cute and unique. Also, at a whole bunch of stores they have dif. color eyeliners. I know i have a white, and dark turquoise/green with sparkles from walgreens.. and a light blue, and purple one from Claires. I love them! :]

    Anyway... hope i helpeeddd :]

I have hazel eyes and need advise on color's and ways to apply my eyeshadow for best looking pictures? HELP!

I'm standing up in my friends wedding and my dress is an Aqua blue...I have hazel eyes and need advise on color's and ways to apply my eyeshadow for best looking pictures? HELP!
I have hazel eyes and i wear (during the day) frosty brown and neutral colors. Dark greens would make your eyes ';pop'; and look beautiful. Never wear blue. the way to apply eye shadow is go across your whole lid up to your eyebrow with a natural or pink color as a base. Start with your color at the crease towards your nose and blend the color on moving out towards the end of your eyebrow. Then you can use a lighter color...beige, neutral or light pinks just under your eyebrow for highlight effect. This will make your eyes look brighter. As a final, use a light color and sweep over entire eye lid for a polished look. The key is to BLEND. I know you'll look beautifulI have hazel eyes and need advise on color's and ways to apply my eyeshadow for best looking pictures? HELP!
First of all you should always apply a neutral coat of nude on your upper lid and blend it in with your brow bone. Then you should apply a thin layer of black eyeliner on your upper lid. The latest look is to add glitter on your upper lid and to leave half of the lower lid kohl-less (from the middle to the end there should be kohl) if you want you can also add a turqoise on your brow bone(only the end and only if you have sharp features) hope i was of some assistance....i wore a bottle green dress for my birthday and i used silver eyeshaddow and a line of black kohl with glitter
Depends on what your coloring is. If you have dark brown hair and more of a olive or tan skin coloring then yeah you might be able to get away with blue eyeshadow list above or even grey. However if your like me with fair skin and more of a light auburn then you can never ever wear blue makeup with hazel eyes- go with the standard-nudes, browns or light green
I don't have a good link so I'm going to tell you...... I find that purples, pinks, golds, browns and sometimes white, look really good and make your eyes pop. I get the most compliments when I use purple though for some reason. use a light shade of purple [a light light lavender colour and put the colour right below your eyebrows and your eyes will look poppy. Lol

Hope I helped! I do have a link though even though it's not that good so here you go!

What is a good way to wear eyeshadow and eyeliner for a blond? I like darker shades, pictures please?

    I am a makeup artist.

It doesn't matter what hair color you have. Use complimentary colors based on your eye color, remember you are trying to enhance your face:

Green eyes: Pinks, Pink-Golds, Bronze, Dark Olive-Browns, Purples, Red-Based Browns.

Blue eyes: Peaches, Bronzes, Copper Browns, Yellow-Based Browns.

Brown eyes: Pinks, Pink-Golds, Purples, Plums, Light to Medium Blues.

Hazel eyes: Dark Browns, Black, Light to Dark Blues, Plums.

NEVER use a shadow that is the same color as your eyes, use complimentary colors that will make your eye pop without using a lot of makeup. It's not good to match your outfit either. What is a good way to wear eyeshadow and eyeliner for a blond? I like darker shades, pictures please?
You can do a light smokey tone. It looks really pretty on any skin tone and hair color. If you dont know what im talking about, do a shady brown and/or a charcoal. Also, bronze/golden colors look nice. Even with a mixture of the two. Do a brown eyeliner. But on the lower lash line only go half way through and on the top do all the way. I've found using a small-tip brush with a black slightly sparkly eyeshaddow can make a wonderful liner. Hope this helped. Good luck. Remember--less is more. So with a smaller amount of makeup, you will look so much prettier than if you are to ';cake'; it on.

What is an similar color eyeshadow to the one in the pictures??

(and how do you do it)

http://www.temptalia.com/images/2007/mak鈥?/a>What is an similar color eyeshadow to the one in the pictures??
MAC eyeshadows are the best! They have every shade you can imagine. This one looks similar to the Pink Venus color. Also, it looks like the model in the pic has a white/silver color just under the browbone.

    http://www.maccosmetics.com/templates/pr鈥?/a>

What is an similar color eyeshadow to the one in the pictures??
the first one is like a dark magenta on the bottom, which fades into a light petal pink at the top. A cream shimmer is spread on top to blend it all.

the second pic, its like a rich gold on the bottom that fades into a light champagne on the top, with a whitetish shimmer to blend.
Im not sure what colors are similar just got to a drug store and buy light pink and a silvery color.

How to-Put the silver over your whole eye then take the pink and put it only over the lid. hope that helps.
thats how i do my makeup and in those colors the first one is like a peach and coral kind of pink and the second one is a gold kinda of color i use ';serenity'; and the brand name is lorac- u can get it at sephoraand what you have to do is take a pencil eyeliner and line the entire bottom lid of ur eye, thentake the eyeshadow and first brush it up to your eyesocket and then reapply it all but this time go al lthe way up to your brow line and then with a tiny brush take more eyeshadow and put it directly underneither ur eyeliner on ur bottom eyelashes, then take a eyelash curler and curl ur eyelashes and then apply mascara- i use cover girl lashblast mascara and then ur done- hopefuly that made sense haha good luck =]

How to find an eyeshadow for my odd eyes(I have a picture!)?

    Here's a picture of me:

    http://s117.photobucket.com/albums/o68/m鈥?/a>

And because I barely have an eyelid, my eyes are on the smaller side, and my eyecolor and skin color...It makes it hard to find a good color eyeshadow for me!

The most successful color Ive tried is this pastel-ish lavender by maybeline.

I also have some Lorel HIP eyeshadow in the purple and yellow.

The yellow is just ugly and the purple makes it look like Ibe gone through an injury...

I have different shades of brown and a brown liner and the combonations of those either dont show up @ all or over-power my eyes.

AAAAND I KINDA like just putting on liquid eyeliner but half the time I put on the line too thick(which is easy to do on my eyes because my lid is so small-my whole eye ends up looking like a raccoon if it's too thick!).

Soooo...What to do and what to wear?!?!?!??!!!

Tell me what you use and if youre similar to me....

    Make up artists apperciated!!!

Ive spent too much money on eyeshadow that doesnt suit me...

http://bellasugar.com/1868691How to find an eyeshadow for my odd eyes(I have a picture!)?
If you brown eyes then you can wear any color eyeshadow. Ask any make up artist and they will tell you that. You need to get a eyeshadow primer or put concealer on your eyelid before eyeshadow. It will make the color keep from creasing and last longer. For eyeliner, stick with pencil for now, it will be easier because liquid is runny and can be difficult for people new to eyeliner.

Youtube is a great place to get help on makeup. Look up makeup tutorials on there and you'll find people with small eyelids but find a way to make their eye makeup look good nonetheless.

    'Hope this helps!!
if i were u, i would pick out a dark eyeshadow (like black) and then buy and angled brush and apply it like tht..it helps alot bc its more controlled tht liquid eyeliner so tht way u can choose the thickness u want it. and ur question headline thing should say: 'attention makeup artists' to get their attention :] lol well hope i helped!!

btw, u have a pretty face and i really dont see ur eyelid problem..but u know what they say, ';beauty is in the eye of the beholder'; lol..';]
