What eyeliner & eyeshadow colors will make light brown eyes stand out?

I have light brown eyes. They are almond shaped. They have a bit of gold and green in them. Also, I have light skin and long dark brown hair. I don't know that much about make-up, so your advice really helps!!

First of all, to make them stand out you might want to use contrast. It think blue (dark blue, you want your eye color not the make up to stand out) looks good with brown eyes, and kind of makes them stand out. Neutral colors also look really good with brown eyes. You could try like taupes and peaches





If you want to make the green stand out, use pink, purple, and even green. I have hazel eyes, with green in them, and those colors really make the green stand out.





If you have dark brown eyes try the darker matted colors and create a smoky eye effect. Your daytime look can be simple or dramatic. You can pull it off





Also, use a highlight right under your eyebrow, and in the corner of your eye, and use a darker shad in the crease of your eye. It'll make your eyes look way pretty.





If you have light brown eyes try the smoky eye look and experiment with lots of different colors. Use lots of muted shadow liners and crayons.

Warm purples are great for brown eyes. Look at the colors of the Almay packs that are made for specific eye colors. I love their brown eye one. It comes with directions on the back and a compact with purple brown and a highlighting color eyeshadow, purple mascara and purple eyeliner. It doesn't look crazy but natural with a little pop of color, great for everyday wear.

use a navy blue pencil eyeliner right along the lashline it shouldn't be over your lashes


any eyeshadow you love i agree gold is very nice and the blackest mascara (so you dont have to pile it on if you dont want to)


basically use colours opposite of your eyecolour (look at a colour wheel)
this is so weird my eyes are the exact same as yours!





I use gold, a brown darker than your eye, and lighter than your eye!

Purple, Teal, Light Blue, Pink, Gold, Turquoise, black. Always keep the eyelashes either black or brown though.

i would do light and dark browns, but purlpes woul look good too with black liner and mascara.
i think pink,purple,gold,or blue would make it stand out !
